This week we begin a new series called "Irresistible: Holiness is not what you think." When you hear the word "holiness" what do you think of? A denomination? A halo? Sin avoidance? When you read scripture you find that holiness is not a boring or stale thing but something vibrant and life giving. It has to do with wholeness and glory and triumph. It was reading of holiness that first peaked the atheist C.S. Lewis' interest and set him on a trajectory toward Christ. Read Psalms 139:13-16 and consider what it has to do with holiness.
