This week we continue our church wide study with a look at Haggai 1. The prophet is sent by God to motivate the Israelites to complete the temple of God. They have been focusing on their own lives and neglecting the temple which mediates God's presence. As you read the text consider how you might neglect the presence of God in your life for worldly pursuits. What causes this? How can you fight it? Look to Haggai 1 and your own life for answers.
