This week we start a new church wide study in the book of Haggai. Before we get to the prophets 2 chapter book we will be setting up the series this Sunday as well as several other series throughout the year that will look at books of the Bible from the same time period as Haggai (Esther, Ezra, and Nehemiah). Take some time to read Jeremiah 29:7 - what is God's call on you based on this passage? Ready Jesus' words on what we ought to pray in Matthew 6:10 - what does "your kingdom come" mean? How do these two passages combine to point us toward Matther 6:33 "Seek first the kingdom of God"?
