Sexton, Worship & Assimilation
Minister
I am originally from
Reynoldsburg (Columbus) Ohio and
I am a graduate of The Ohio
State University. I studied
music education at OSU which led
me into teaching instrumental
music for nearly a decade before
entering full-time ministry.
Twenty-five years of church
music and worship involvement
led me to the Robert Webber
Institute for Worship Studies
where I earned both my Master’s
and Doctoral degrees in Worship
Studies. My family and I are
delighted to be at Rocklane
which has quickly become our
church home. This is a healthy,
vibrant faith community and we
look forward to raising our
family here.

Waltner, Children's Program
Director
Hi, I’m Connie and am a native
of Peru, Indiana. I currently
live in Franklin, IN with my
husband, Don. I have a Bachelor
of Science and Master of Art
Degree in Elementary Education
from Ball State University.
Prior to becoming the Children’s
Director at Rocklane, I taught
elementary school for 29 years.
I am blessed to now have the
opportunity to use the gifts and
experience God gave me during
those years to direct children’s
activities and services here at
Rocklane for infant children
through fifth grade. |

 Dion Reed, Youth
Minister
My name is Dion Reed. I’m
originally from Rushville,
Indiana. I love hanging out with
my wife and kids. I also enjoy
all kinds of sports, and I have
a new interest in hunting. I
graduated H.S. (Rushville) in
1992. I was ordained into
ministry at my home church,
Arlington Christian Church, in
1996. I then graduated from
Cincinnati Christian University
in 1998, and have been in youth
ministry for the past 12 years.
For the past 9 years, I served
as youth minister at First
Church of Christ in Hicksville,
Ohio. I married my wife, Lisa,
in 1994 while we were both
students at CCU. We have three
children Brady 7, Emily, 4 and
Makenna, 2. We are amazed and
excited to see God’s hand
actively at work in the lives of
His people here at the Rock!
